Wood –Basic Raw Material of Scandinavian Style

Wood, which is the basic raw material of Scandinavian décor design, is its source of design. The Scandinavian style is the way to live in a non-Nordic area with a Nordic nature feeling. This kind of décor design will always keep you close to the clean and natural environment.

The wood is worked in all form. Wood materials come from pine, beech, oak and maple are widely made in furniture as well as decorative objects.


In 1950s and 1960s, the Scandinavian style was released, mainly applied on interior design. Teak, rosewood and plywood, etc. are the main decoration material. All furniture spread beyond their borders and are wide accepted in the décor world.
